Hello and welcome!  I, Chand Gidwani, am a passionate amateur photographer. Recently I decided to utilize my passion as a tool for change. Since my first trip to Africa seven years ago, I discovered a love for the serenity of wildlife in their natural habitat. My journey has taken me to some of the beautiful places in the world including regions in Namibia, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Brazil, Cuba, Costa Rica, Kenya, Zimbabwe, and India (my paternal home), to name a few. All the while I have memorialized my experiences and these amazing places through photography.

My Mission

To leverage my love of nature and photography to raise awareness of the plight of elephants and humans.  For the past four years, I have run an annual fundraiser to support Sunrise Middle School, a local school in San Jose, California that strives to educate a community most in need in the SF Bay Area.  I want to expand my philanthropy  to raise much more for the other organizations, whose work I hold very dear to me. These organizations are in need of funding.  Every cent of your donations will go directly to them.

As a token of appreciation, each donor will receive a gift emblematic of the wildlife I have experienced. For the past three years, desktop calendars with original photographs and of wildlife and landscapes were gifted to the benefactors. To ensure maximum support and value to each organization I support, none of the donations are handled by me and instead payments are made directly to the beneficiaries. As we all know current philanthropic endeavors create friction in the current system and I simply am seeking to utilize my passion to raise awareness for each organization. I hope you can take the time to support each and every cause while also enjoying the beauty this world has to offer through the gifts I will provide to each donor.
